Here are a few pictures of Avery's special day:
Mimi and Pop-Pop sent Avery flowers
This is Avery wearing her new Tiana dress. She wanted this dress so badly.
Hannah and Avery at Mcdonalds. We had breakfast there since it was a special occasion.
Hannah and Avery wearing their Birthday Dresses that I made.
Big Mimi made Avery this smock. She loves it and wears it all the time.
The pinata that we made fully decorated. I think it came out really nicely.
We joined the summer reading program at the Pomfret Library. These are pictures from
the Forest of the Shrew Program that we attended. There was a woman from one of the
Environmental Agencies that told the children a story based on the local forests and the animal habitats within the forest. Then they all played a game where they had to create a nature web. Then they drew pictures based on the story S.T. Shrew The Encounter. It was not only educational but very interesting.
It was a good review of what Hannah learned in science last year. One less thing for us to review in September. She seemed to have a good grasp on the information. Avery even remembered a lot.
We celebrated July 4th by going to the fireworks in Webster. Happy 4th of July Everyone!!!
Hannah and Avery planned a tea party. They made the invitations, the place cards and the
decorations. We also baked sugar cookies for the event. The guests were Hannah, Avery
Me and a couple of their favorite dolls.
We signed the girls up for a 6 week Zumba class. Here are a few pictures from the
first class. The had so much fun they can't wait for their next class!!!
